Hey, so you want to help the MUD out?

Publicity really helps the MUD, and every little action counts! In an Internet populated with hundreds of MUDs it's hard to stand out. We don't plan on ever spending money to advertise. After all, this is just a game, a FREE game that we take no money from.

MUDs are a good way to get people interested in online adventure. With the advent of MMORPGs and consle games, we often forget about all the people that don't play those for a variety of reasons. Those are the people we need to attract. Medieval Times has always had a dedicated staff of Imms looking to make the world a fun and challenging place. But, it's no fun without players like yourself! The more players, the more things there are to do. Clans form and grow in size, Imms run more quests, and there is a bigger drive for the coders to add more features.
    Word of Mouth
  • Advertising the web address on message boards or chat rooms - Now, that doesn't mean to spam our address or flood chat rooms with spam about us, it means to leave a friendly notice about what we have to offer
  • Posting fliers up at places around you - there is something cool about having a fellow Mudder in your neighborhood (unless they get WAY too deep into roleplaying). You can target coffee shops, comic book stores etc.
  • Tell other Mudders - this doesn't mean to steal them, but let people know about us, if they ever get tired or fed up with their current MUD, maybe they will give us a try!
